Prospect and Play
PetroView's Prospect and Play Module incorporates a customisable database schema that enables companies to easily load, edit, view and query information about their prospects and business development opportunities.

What it does
- Collates information from disparate files and various formats (e.g. PowerPoint slides, Excel spreadsheets, CAD files).
- Stores data in a single repository.
- Enables users to visualise and query prospect outlines and business development opportunities alongside PetroView data and other GIS layers.
Key benefits
- Record information about prospect risk factors, physical and geological characteristics and reserve estimates.
- Calculate net equity values for each prospect (based on block/licence locations) at the click of a button.
- Add document links to dynamically launch electronic files and web pages.
- Generate asset and query based reports using pre-formatted templates.
- Minimise data entry errors and improve data consistency via drop-down list selections.
- Apply user permissions to control who has read/write access to the database.
- Keep an audit trail of who made changes to the database and when.
Installation and technology
PetroView's Prospect and Play module is available for ArcGIS 9.2 and MapInfo 8.5 and all regional datasets.
