PetroView®: Data
An integral part of PetroView is the data contained within it. PetroView datasets are updated on a monthly basis and supplied via the Internet or on CD-ROM. Each dataset contains a set of core data as well as region specific-information.
Data sources
The information within PetroView is collected and analysed on a continuous basis by our team of Petroleum Engineers, Licensing and Well scouts in our regional offices. This ensures that our data is of the highest quality and clients receive the most up-to-date information.
Core datasets
The core information found within each regional dataset includes:
Licence data
Attributes include: licence details, operator, ownership
information, status, key dates, acreage, open blocks, farm-in
opportunities.
Well data
Attributes include: well type, operator, ownership information,
spud and completion dates, result, depth data, geological formation,
test details, rig name, licence details.
Field data
Attributes include: field type, operator, ownership information, key
dates, block unitisation, reservoir characteristics, reserve data,
historic and future production profiles, technical data, economic
indicators.
Pipeline data
