Doing business in the CIS

With ever growing demand for reliable energy supplies, the Caspian Sea has proved to be a major oil and gas source, still holding great potential for the future. The countries in the region play an increasingly important role in securing European energy and have attracted vast investments since the early nineties. The Governments of the Caspian countries have negotiated large exploration and production projects and still have substantial opportunities to offer; a number of transportation projects are currently being considered. The fast-changing regulatory environment in the Caspian countries, however, focusing on fiscal, environmental and local content issues, is proving challenging.

With this in mind, we invite you to attend our seminar during which we will discuss key issues relating to the region.
