GANOPE announced the opening of its 2008 bidding round for Upper Egypt on March 24th, 2008. 12 blocks will be put up for auction (seven onshore and five offshore) and data on the blocks will be available to purchase from April 1st, with bids to be submitted by July 15th, 2008.
