PetroView updates:

South Asia - India's NELP-VI

The 52 blocks that received bids were officially awarded to the successful bidders on 8 February 2007, with the PSCs expected to be officially signed in the first week of March 2007.

NELP-VI block awards are available in our PetroView South Asia dataset. Existing subscribers to this dataset can download this newly updated blocks layer from our website using their login credentials.

Existing subscribers will also receive a separate email detailing the procedure for downloading the update shortly.

The PetroView Arabian Peninsula dataset has been updated and now includes oil and gas fields and blocks in Saudi Arabia. As well as infrastructure and facilities in the existing countries in the dataset.

The February release of PetroView NW Europe includes seven new data tables, which are accessible via Open Catalogue:

UK_Offshore_24th_Rnd_ Awarded - contains the blocks awarded under the UK 24th Licensing Round. The objects have been interpreted from hard copy maps (source: DTI), therefore, they do not represent accurate coordinate information.
