Development and outlook for the Southern
North Sea - opportunity or a spent force?

During the Energy Institute Southern North Sea conference in October 2006, Kenneth McKellar gave an insight into the SNS gas market, and in particular the importance of the Bacton gas terminal and European gas supply.

The conference interactively examined some of the issues affecting the region and provided real examples of current thinking, perceived (and real) problems and potential solutions in order to maximise economic recovery of gas in the area.

Ken's presentation is available to download.

Update to PetroView North Africa

The October update of the PetroView North Africa dataset introduces the tiny island of Malta. Located close to the petroleum producing nations of Tunisia and Libya, interest is growing in Malta, which is seen as having the potential to be a small player in the region. Open and licensed blocks have been incorporated along with all wells drilled in the country.

For more information regarding PetroView North Africa, please visit our website.
