New PetroView dataset – Arabian Peninsula
We are delighted to announce the launch of PetroView
Arabian Peninsula. This dataset includes the following
countries:
Kuwait and Neutral Zone, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab
Emirates, Oman and
Yemen and the core PetroView layers: wells,
licences and fields.
PetroView Arabian Peninsula also contains standard
PetroView cultural data layers (basin outlines,
bathymetry, coastline, cities, roads, provinces and
rivers) and will be updated quarterly during 2006. This
dataset is available for the MapInfo and ArcView (ESRI)
GIS platforms.

PetroView North Africa expansion
This month, PetroView North Africa’s coverage grew to
include the Levant region, which encompasses the
following new countries:
Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian Authority and
Israel. These countries will become an integral
part of the North Africa dataset and will be updated on
a monthly basis.
The database contains all standard data layers such
as wells, licences, fields, facilities and pipelines.
Cultural data layers including basin outlines,
bathymetry, topography and surface geology are also
provided. The dataset is available for the MapInfo and
ArcView (ESRI) GIS platforms.

Updated PetroReports - Tunisian Field
Reports
The Tunisian Field Reports were updated and released
in July 2006. The module contains individual reports for
over 40 producing and developing fields.
Each Field Report includes sections on exploration,
appraisal and development history, reservoir and
petroleum characteristics, production levels (where
available) and transportation (where applicable).

Jakarta 2006 International Geosciences
Conference and Exhibition - August 15-16, 2006
We are exhibiting at the
Jakarta 2006 International Geosciences Conference and
Exhibition, being held at the Jakarta Convention
Centre. The conference theme is “Advances in Geosciences
Technology to Enhance the Optimization of Resource
Utilization”. The conference is an opportunity to
exchange information about technology advances from
around the world.
