Increase data access with PetroView Live
We have recently launched PetroView Live, our web-based GIS service, which delivers PetroView data across entire organisations. This enables everyone to investigate upstream oil and gas operations, create maps and access corporate information through a single browser interface using ArcIMS 9.0.
PetroView Live is available as a supplementary, internet or intranet, service to existing organisations that are already using a desktop implementation of either MapInfo or ArcGIS.
Detailed information on PetroView Live is available on our website.
Pending deal activityWe have implemented a new ‘licensing & deal pending’ field in PetroView and the Upstream Petroleum Report (UPR). As a result of this development, we are now able to depict licence awards and deal activity that is pending formal completion and official sanction.
The immediate benefit of this change is the inclusion of the UKCS 22nd licensing round results prior to DTI approval. Users can now interrogate the latest licensing and deal information using PetroView and the UPR.
For more information about PetroView and the UPR visit our website.
We are pleased to announce the expansion of our gas advisory team. Ian Thomson, Johanne Syron and Andrew Knights bring a mix of powerful analytical, technical and commercial skills, which will accelerate our growing presence in the European gas industry.
Ian's breadth of knowledge and expertise has been gained through managing BP’s Central North Sea infrastructure and operations, and successfully working as a highly respected consultant.
Johanne joins us from Global Insight where she completed many European energy sector studies. Johanne has also been involved in the management of numerous gas and power contracts in North West Europe.
Andrew brings detailed technical and commercial knowledge gained from 27 years' experience at Total UK. Andrew has an in-depth operational knowledge of the whole of the gas value chain.
Their combined experience will greatly strengthen our ability to execute a broader range of gas engagements.
