Gas and LNG

Essentials of gas and LNG

When: October 27-29, 2008
Where: The Deloitte Academy, Stonecutter Court, London

Natural gas is the fuel of choice for global energy markets with the potential to ensure that lights stay on for millions of people and businesses across the world. Yet the fundamental properties and geo-political distribution of gas often make this energy source challenging to exploit.

Our three day course programme explores the technical, political and commercial influences on today’s gas value chain and how they will shape its future. Each facet of the industry is considered, from the challenges of exploration and extraction, to complexities of transportation, market dynamics and regulation. Topical issues, such as the role and importance of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and market deregulation, are introduced and examined in an engaging and thought provoking way.

Our two course leaders have over 60 years of combined oil and gas experience working in and alongside some of the worlds largest oil and gas companies. By defining a set of key learning objectives, the course is tailored to those wishing to broaden their understanding of the gas value chain or who are new to the industry.

All course materials will be provided. Please review the course logistics for further details.
