Future potential
Integrated evaluation of upstream hydrocarbon assets
When: TBA
Where: The Deloitte Academy, Stonecutter Court, London
Oil and gas fuels our world and, with the impact of high oil and gas prices generating an uncertain future, it is vital that hydrocarbon assets can be evaluated to determine value, even when scarce data is available.
Focusing on the business needs of oil and gas asset evaluation, the course objectives aim to develop a strong understanding in the multitude of skills required for the evaluation process. The course relies heavily on interactive learning modules and team exercises, and is ideal for people wishing to broaden their knowledge of asset evaluation’s purpose and those new to the industry.
Our three day interactive course programme explores the technical, political and commercial influences on the evaluation of assets within the global oil and gas industry; taking into account the impact of field development choices, on production facility infrastructure, size and cost.
Our course leader, Pete Smith, has over 30 years' experience in the industry, having worked for BP developing technology strategy and specialising in techniques to incorporate risk and uncertainty into asset evaluations.
All course materials will be provided. Please review the course logistics for further details.
